Step by Step Building Process. Hunt for scrap wood and pallet. Since we use pallets as main materials to build the coop we should find the pallets or scrap wood first. Go around to local business for instance to get the cheaper pallets. It should be in enough amount because the pallets will be stacked two high. Lay the groundwork. Before laying make sure you have decided on the size of the coop’s perimeter. Then you can start laying the groundwork. In this case use the screws and cordless power tools. The dimension should match the coop’s size.
To be honest there are many awesome chicken coops available out there but some of them come with high price tag. And for most people like us those coops are just not affordable. Therefore the idea of building a chicken coop from pallets makes a perfect idea. Mainly because it is much more affordable so we can save money to buy additional supplies to raise the chickens.
