Just like anybody raising flocks is one of those fun money-raising activities you can have in your backyard. Even if you are living in the city or have a small yard you can raise flocks successfully and it all depends on the type of chicken coop houses. Depending on the number of chicken a mobile chicken coop has become one of the preferred coop houses by many poultry raiser. Mobile chicken coop is a portable coop that lets you change its position for the benefits of your chicken. Perhaps you may want to transfer the coop into shade during sunny days or you want to keep it in another house during rainy days. So here are some guidelines in making a mobile chicken coop. First it must have a wheel. Of course it is easier to transfer the coop to new location if it has a wheel. Another option is to make a rod or an extended handle on the side but you will be dealing with its weight if it does not have a wheel. Best advice is to use four wheels one on each corner. Also pick one that is durable enough for outdoor location. Second make it as light as possible.

Moveable chicken coops are like chicken coops on wheels. Literally. Though not so popular amongst the hardcore chicken breeders of the world which tend to build chicken coops of a large scale for hundreds of poultry and heavy egg layers the moveable chicken coop was an invention my father created after a major storm with hurricane like winds hit our small town. After the storm knocked down some of our coconut trees and demolished most of our plants and livestock my father needed to move the chicken coop to other parts of the yard in order to clean up the mess. Since it was an almost impossible task to actually lift up the coop with all its weight and relocate it elsewhere my father came up with the genius idea of installing wheels to the bottom of the chicken coop so that it would be easily rolled to any destination in our yard. This idea was such a success in our everyday chicken raising lifestyle that from that moment on every chicken coop we ever built was a moveable chicken coop.

For those who want to breed chicken choosing the right chicken coop design is not an easy task since there are so many designs available on the internet. There are in fact all sorts coop designs available out there; some are costly while others are affordable some seem to be ideal while others are just ineffective. Thus whether you want to choose a coop design for your chickens or design a coop on your ownthese are the things you should look for. When looking for a good chicken coop plan you should make sure the ones you are considering are easy to clean. One of the reasons behind the failure of certain coop blueprints is that they tend to be really difficult to clean. Coop designs that can be easily cleaned and maintained are definitely worth buying. To ensure proper and runoff you should make sure that the floor of the coop is sloped downwards you should avoid going for coop designs where the door opens outwards.
